Who we are

NeonSort: Hex Color Puzzle ("the app", "we", "us") is an indie mobile game developed by HexGrid Games. If you have any questions about this policy, see the contact section at the bottom.

Information we collect

Information you provide

NeonSort does not ask you to create an account, enter your name, email address, or any other personal information. We do not collect anything you type or enter.

Game progress data

Your current level, highest level reached, current board state, and settings preferences (music, sound, vibration) are saved in a local JSON file on your device using Application.persistentDataPath. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

Data collected automatically via third-party SDKs

The app includes third-party SDKs for advertising and anonymous analytics. These SDKs may automatically collect certain device and usage information as described below. We do not directly receive or store this data ourselves — it is governed by the provider's own privacy policy.

Third-party SDKs

Unity's ad mediation platform (LevelPlay) may include additional downstream ad network partners. You can review Unity's list of ad network partners in their privacy documentation.

Advertising ID & personalised ads

The app uses your device's Android Advertising ID (AAID) to serve ads. By default, ads may be personalised based on your interests. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time through your device settings:

• Open Settings on your Android device
• Go to Privacy → Ads (or Google → Ads on some devices)
• Tap "Opt out of Ads Personalisation" or "Delete advertising ID"

Opting out means you will still see ads, but they will not be tailored to your interests. It does not affect your ability to play the game.

Children's privacy

NeonSort is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app includes interest-based advertising, which means it is not intended for use by children under 13 without parental supervision.

If you believe your child has been exposed to advertising that is inappropriate, please contact us using the details below and we will address it promptly.

Data retention & deletion

The only data stored by the app itself is your local game save file (level progress and settings). You can delete this at any time by uninstalling the app, which removes all locally stored data from your device.

For data collected by the Unity LevelPlay SDK, please refer to Unity's privacy policy for information on their retention practices and how to submit a data deletion request.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under applicable privacy law, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you. Because we do not directly collect or store your personal data, most requests should be directed to the relevant third-party provider (Unity).

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California (CCPA), you may have additional rights. Please contact us if you have questions about exercising these rights.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time — for example, if we add new features or third-party integrations. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
